What Philip's Working On

This is what's coming next to Up to Par. I've got a lot of ideas for the game (and there are always bugs to fix) so this is where you can see what my immediate priorities are in each area of the game.

Small Issues

Things that won't take long to fix and will make the game better.

  • Quicker ways to skip through the game end flow and resume a new round.
  • UI indicator that shows when the teleport can't find a destination
  • Fade the UI if it's overlapping a player ball.

Large Issues

I'm working on fixing these, but it might take a while because they're either complicated or difficult to reproduce.

  • In multiplayer, the teleport sometimes doesn't work or incorrectly ends a round with 1 shot remaining.
  • Input sometimes freezes when people leave a multiplayer lobby.
  • When playing online, the equipment slot upgrades default to the host, not the player with the most unlocked.

Small Features

I'll try to get one of these into each update.

  • Same spawn location option for competitive mode.
  • New Attires to unlock - please let me know what new outfits you'd like to see in the game!
  • More course variation.

Large Features

Big and important changes to the game that will change the way you play. These take weeks or months to develop (but I'm doing my best!).

  • The Daily Challenge - A single hole that you start with pre-determined items, and on online leaderboard.
  • A meta-progression system that rewards you for achieving good runs, that can sit alongside unlocking pieces and new courses

Ideas

I think these would be great. I'm considering how I'd implement them and when they'd fit in the schedule, but they're not confirmed yet.
